What is my Dolphin Email address?
Your email address is your Dolphin Name + "@myci.csuci.edu". For example, a student named Pat Richards with a Dolphin Name called pat.richards123 would have the Dolphin email address pat.richards123@myci.csuci.edu.
University employees use a different email address (see the "Help for University Employees" section of this page).

Where do I login to my Dolphin Email account?
To access your Dolphin Email account, go to myCI and enter your Dolphin Name and Dolphin Password. Once you are logged in, locate and click the "Dolphin Email" link.

Can I access my Dolphin Email on my mobile phone or other mobile device?
Yes; you have two options to access Dolphin Email on your mobile device:
Option A. Use the web browser on your device. In your device's web browser, Go to myCI, login with your Dolphin Name and Dolphin Password. Once you have logged in, click on the "Dolphin Email for students/alumni" link. This will take you to the mobile version of the Dolphin Email web site, where you can read messages and send email.
Option B. Configure the IMAP client on your device. If you wish to access your new Dolphin Email from your mobile device via IMAP (such as iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry), please reset your myCI password before you configure your IMAP access. This is necessary to ensure that your password is synchronized with your new Dolphin Email mailbox. Once you have reset your myCI password, please refer to Google's supported IMAP client list for instructions for configuring your device.

Help for University Employees
How can I access my email online?
University employees may access their email via Outlook Web Access. In your web browser, go to myCI.
What is my email address?
Your email address is your Dolphin Name + "@csuci.edu". For example, a University employee named Tracy Smith with a Dolphin Name called "tracy.smith" would have the email address tracy.smith@csuci.edu.
University students use a different email address.
What is my User Name and Password to access my email online?
Visit the Account and Password page.
I forgot my user name and/or password. How can I get help?
If you forgot your Dolphin Name, please visit the Account and Password Help page for instructions on how to retrieve your Dolphin Name.
If you forgot your Dolphin Password, please use the myCI Forgot Password service to set a new Dolphin Password.

Can I use my smartphone to access my employee email & calendar?
Yes. You can use the default mail app on both iOS and Android devices to send and receive mail & calendar. There are also dedicated, native apps for iOS and Android that you can use.

Can I use any other email software to access my employee email? Can I use an IMAP client?
Yes. University employees can also access their employee webmail using other email clients (such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Mac Mail) which support IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol).
