- During Week 2 of Spring 2024 classes, Teaching and Learning Innovations distributed a brief AI survey to students. We asked questions about whether and how students are using AI tools generally and for their course work, whether their instructors had communicated guidelines around AI usage in their courses, and what advantages or concerns students may have about AI diffusion in higher education. View the Spring 2024 AI Student Survey Data Brief.
- In Fall 2023, Teaching and Learning Innovations hosted a convening of educators from the region for an AI Summit. Our Keynote speaker shared a framework for AI literacy, and panelists discussed policies, practices, professional development, experimentation, and implementation of AI in their respective contexts. Visit the event website for more information.
- During Summer 2023, Jerilee Petralba and Dan Lenz joined Teaching and Learning Innovations as AI Staff and Faculty in Residence. During their AI Residency, the team experimented with emerging AI tools and related issues stemming from AI diffusion in education and work. The Residency will expand to include more residents in Summer 2024, including interested students. Read Jerilee’s blog post.
